Austins Harvey is set on 1.2 acres of land with a variety of different areas suited to a wide range of functions.  Numerous weddings have taken place in the front gardens, with the bride taking advantage of the settings to stay at our Bed and Breakfast with her bridal party on the night before the wedding.   This then enables the bridal party to use our function room for their hair, makeup, and so on, before making a grand entrance through the front of the historic home, down the steps and following the red carpet to her groom.

Similarly, we've had grooms and their party stay the night before the wedding, get ready in the function room and then mingle with their guests before the bride arrives.

Austins Harvey also lends itself to car and motorcycle clubs, showing off their pride and joy whilst enjoying a catered lunch pre-arranged to suit their budget.  Motorcycles are shown to best advantage on the number of hard stands available for their use, rather than use chocks on the lawn.   The lawned areas are expansive enough to take large numbers of cars on site ensuring that the owners can relax and enjoy their refreshments in a secure setting and exploring the magnificent man cave.

 

The under cover alfresco area at the rear of the homestead is the perfect place to enjoy morning / afternoon tea, lunch or dinner, and we host a wide variety of these functions for aged care providers, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, community groups, birthdays, engagements, Christmas in July, Melbourne Cup, and business Christmas functions.   Alternatively, there is a smaller indoor function room for groups under 26 people.

Menus are either a la carte or buffet style and all produce is sourced locally, ensuring guests enjoy local Harvey Beef and other meats from our local Butcher, fruit and vegetables from our local suppliers, and local residents come in to assist with the welcome and service to our guests.
